Camp NaNoWriMo, Week 2 Recap

Hello writers!

Week 2 of Camp NaNoWriMo is over in a few hours. I don’t know about you, but this week was really hard for me. I was super busy with work, and when I got home I really wasn’t in the mood to write.

That’s okay.

I am going to do my best to write tomorrow and make up for lost time.

My novel hasn’t been going exactly as planned, but I did spent a lot of time last weekend figuring out my protagonist’s goals, motivations, and fears. I also nailed down his internal conflict, which should make the novel really exciting going forward.

So, okay, maybe this week wasn’t a failure. I didn’t write, but I learned a lot about my protagonist that will help me keep going.

How is Camp NaNoWriMo going for you? Have you hit any road blocks?

Author: Chase Charaba

Hello there! I'm Chase, an ambitious, aspiring young novelist and YouTuber who hopes to get a novel published one day. I'm also trying to produce the highest quality YouTube videos by constantly learning new ways to film and edit. I've been involved in journalism for 5 years, including 1 year as co-editor of a national award-winning high school newsmagazine and 1 year as the co-editor of an award-winning college newspaper. I write mainly epic/high fantasy, but I also mess around with science fiction, horror, and realistic fiction.
