Happy New Year everyone!
I’ll be drafting some proper blog posts for this month as I try to get back into the swing of things this year. For now, I wanted to leave you with a link to my first video of 2017, which I published on my YouTube channel at 11 a.m. Pacific.
I spent a few hours on New Years Eve snowshoeing at Mount Rainier National Park. It ended up being a sunny day with clear, blue skies and full visibility of the mountain and other peaks. It was between 15 and 20 degrees up there, but it was still nice.
I tried a few new things with this video. I used some new transitions that I downloaded for Premiere Pro, and I actually did some color grading on my cinematic shots. It didn’t turn out like I wanted it to, but I’m alright with it because it’s still better than the stuff I was publishing for much of last year.
Giving it a like would mean the world to me.
Until my next post, I hope you have a great New Years Day! What did you do to celebrate? Let me know in the comments.
