Introducing 2 new weekly series!

I’m very happy to announce that starting next week I’ll have two new weekly-recurring segments on this blog.

Ever since I started this blog in 2013 with my first posts in January of 2014, I meant for it to be a place to share my writing and promote myself as a writer. That worked for a while, but then it became a blog for me to write whatever I wanted. Then in 2016 I kind of stopped blogging entirely.

This month I’ve tried to get back on track with daily posts, all of them centered around either my writing of my YouTube channel. However, I think its time to start making this blog interesting again.

Throwback Tunesday

There have been Throwback Tunesday sections on other websites in the past, but they have often been abandoned. For me, I mostly listen to throwback tunes.

The idea behind this weekly post on Tuesdays is for me to share a song or album and write a little bit about it. I’ll probably show pictures of my vinyl record collection (now 448 records strong) and rant about how much better music was before I was born.

Music plays a huge role in my life, so I think it will be fun to share a little bit about how it inspires me.

Write-it Wednesday

Maybe starting next week I’ll be posting fiction again! Posting short stories on this blog proved to be a big hit last year, but I haven’t posted anything since.

I have a ton of stories that I’ve written and plan to do nothing with, so I’m exciting to start sharing them.

Hopefully this brings new visitors to my blog and helps to make up for my long absence.

Until next time,

P.S. Camp NaNoWriMo is still doing well! I forgot how stressful Chapter Three was.

Author: Chase Charaba

Hello there! I'm Chase, an ambitious, aspiring young novelist and YouTuber who hopes to get a novel published one day. I'm also trying to produce the highest quality YouTube videos by constantly learning new ways to film and edit. I've been involved in journalism for 5 years, including 1 year as co-editor of a national award-winning high school newsmagazine and 1 year as the co-editor of an award-winning college newspaper. I write mainly epic/high fantasy, but I also mess around with science fiction, horror, and realistic fiction.
