Band of the week: Silvertide

Silvertide is one of the greatest bands to emerge in the modern era of music. Why? Silvertide stays true to the hard rock sound that everyone else was so quick to abandon.

Silvertide released one album, Show & Tell, in 2004 and toured in support of major rock acts such as Van Halen and Motley Crue, even earning a performance on Jimmy Kimmel. Then their record label went under and they seemed to completely disappear from view.

Guitarist Nick Perri went on to play with Shinedown and many solo projects, as did other members of the band.

In 2014 they released their first new work in ten years, the single, “Try Try Try,” and announced plans for a new EP or album in the future, which I am extremely excited for.

I write mainly epic/high fantasy, but I also mess around with science fiction, horror, and realistic fiction.
