Seahawks Super Bowl Sunday!

Has it really been a year since the last Super Bowl? It doesn’t seem like it was that long ago when the Seattle Seahawks took home the Lombardi Trophy in Super Bowl XLVIII. That day was a great one.

My mom had made her famous hot wings (which are crispy and wonderful), nachos with the creamy, unhealthy cheese, and lots of other snacky foods that lined the table in the living and the island in the kitchen.

It seems like a “Re-Pete” of last year. The Seahawks are back in the Super Bowl and my mom is one again frying her famous hot wings for game day. This Super Bowl is a big deal in my family. We are all Seahawks fans, which is no secret. I mean, you have to love the home team, and we have a great one here in Washington state. It’s fun watching all of the bandwagon fans that have only loved the Seahawks since 2013. I have watched the Seahawks since 2005 and my mom has been a fan since sometime in the 1980s.

Our Seahawks flag is proudly hanging above the garage door, which is now soaked from the rain and fog. Everything is deja vu, and hopefully that means there will be another win for Seattle.
