10 best Nirvana songs

Nirvana, the band that took the music industry by storm in the early ’90s, unleashing the Grunge scene that ultimately killed off glam metal and hard rock, leaving us in this alternative rock modern day world.

Now, I like Grunge music. It’s just natural to love it, being from Washington state and all. Alice in Chains and Soundgarden are my favorite of the Grunge bands, but I enjoy Nirvana and Pearl Jam too. Even though I love it, there are some harsh feelings because of what their sudden explosion did to the music industry.

But, this post is about the 10 best Nirvana songs, in my opinion. I think that my list is very unique in that I actually prefer Nirvana’s lesser known songs to their hits.

My favorite Nirvana songs:

1. Lounge Act (1991)

2. Blew (1989)

3. Molly’s Lips (1992)

4. Come As You Are (1991)

5. Serve the Servants (1993)

6. Been a Son (1992)

7. Smells Like Teen Spirit (1991)

8. Dumb (1993)

9. Lithium (1991)

10. Sliver (1992)
